Five Italian activists detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank this week were released and repatriated on Saturday morning, Italy's foreign ministry said, according to Reuters, in text published by The Hindu.

The women were detained by Israeli police in the settlement of Kiryat Arba, next to Hebron, along with other international activists, while trying to protect Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest, according to the Times of India.
