The multi-day truce between Russia and Ukraine, limited to the Kherson region, ended with no violations reported by either side and no sign of an extension.

The ceasefire expired at midnight Moscow time (2100 GMT) and Ukraine pulled civilians out of parts of the region. The Institute for the Study of War assesses that the truce allowed up to 800 civilians to be evacuated and brought humanitarian aid to Oleshky and nearby settlements. Residents walked and shopped again at Tavriysky Market on the truce’s last day, November 1, 2026.
