Brazil’s foreign ministry summoned on Thursday (October 29) Argentina’s chargé d’affaires in Brasília, minister-counselor Emilia Cortés, to demand explanations about the possible involvement of Javier Milei’s government in Senator Flávio Bolsonaro’s flight to the United States (US), with a stopover on Argentine territory.
The diplomat was received on the afternoon of the same Thursday by the head of the ministry’s Mercosur Department, João Marcelo Galvão de Queiroz, in Brasília, according to G1. The route began on the night of Tuesday (27), when Flávio and his family entered Argentina after crossing the Tancredo Neves International Bridge, which links Foz do Iguaçu, in Paraná state, to Puerto Iguazú, in Argentina’s Misiones province.
