Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Europe will not be able to cover its gas deficit without Russian supplies, according to TASS.

He attributed the deficit to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the shutdown of the plant in Qatar as a result of attacks in March.
