The United States proposed resuming Russian natural gas sales to Europe through Ukraine, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The idea was raised by envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff during trips to Moscow and Kyiv in September and would involve selling the gas through a US intermediary to circumvent European sanctions.
