Senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan met with Iran in Tehran on Monday in an attempt to stop the Middle East war from reigniting, France 24 reported.

It was the first joint visit to Tehran by the three countries since they formed a defense alliance in Mecca in August. Iran’s security chief, Mohsen Rezaei, told state television the talks were “very good”.
