The United States will mediate technical-level talks between Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11, special envoy Steve Witkoff announced.

According to Witkoff, discussions will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts and next steps toward peace. The US delegation is expected to include Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, according to Reuters. The Kremlin said presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky will remain Russia’s chief negotiator in the new round, according to Sputnik.
