US President Donald Trump endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday late in his reelection campaign.

Trump held off on a public endorsement until internal polling indicated that Netanyahu had a realistic chance of winning, and Netanyahu said Israel’s objectives against Iran are not dependent on American approval, according to The Jerusalem Post.
