The international airport in Rzeszow, Poland, near the border with Ukraine, was closed to arriving and departing flights at the military’s request, a source in the air traffic control service of the Warsaw Flight Information Region told TASS.

The source said the closure was “due to unscheduled military aviation operations aimed at ensuring the country’s security”, and gave no further details.
