Two former Ukrainian prisoners held alongside freed US prisoner Stephen Hubbard said they witnessed him being beaten and humiliated by Russian guards during his four-year detention, according to the BBC.

The accounts from the two corroborate statements by Hubbard’s family that he was tortured in prison.
