Iran received a letter from US Vice President JD Vance and has not yet responded to it, the semi-official Tasnim news agency said on Thursday, according to Middle East Eye.
The letter was sent to Iranian security chief Mohsen Rezaei, as The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, in a bid to revive peace negotiations. Tehran insists that its seven conditions be met by the United States and says that “any position that contradicts this framework is unacceptable,” the agency added.
