Nearly 840,000 people voted on Tuesday for Ra’am and the Joint List, a coalition of three Arab-led parties, a 64 percent increase from the 2022 elections, according to final results from the Central Election Committee published by the Times of Israel.

The parties won 19 of the Knesset’s 120 seats, surpassing the previous record of 15. Neither Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition nor the opposition alliance secured the 61 seats required for a parliamentary majority, according to Al Jazeera.
