At least seven people were killed on Friday when two gunmen opened fire on a funeral in central Jordan, according to the country's state media, as cited by the BBC.

Another 10 people were injured at the church in Karak governorate. State-owned television Al-Mamlaka reported that security forces were deployed to the Hamoud church and were pursuing two suspects who, according to reports, got out of a vehicle before opening fire. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, and Jordanian authorities have not said who was responsible.
