Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Monday that authorities in Kiev have intensified targeted strikes on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and its satellite town of Energodar, according to the Sputnik news agency.

Asked about the situation around the plant, Zakharova described Energodar as home to the plant's employees, who “continue to perform their duties in the most difficult conditions”, and her statement did not detail dates, locations or targets of the strikes.
