Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman said Monday that he spoke by phone with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth about bilateral defense cooperation and efforts to de-escalate regional tensions.

In the account he posted on X, the minister said the call covered “the continued Houthi terrorist attacks against the Kingdom.”
