Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Donald Trump’s decision to roll back sanctions on Russia will intensify the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine, according to the Guardian.

“Unfortunately, the lifting of sanctions will continue, and I believe that the ‘diesel deal’ is the first step,” he said on Saturday. According to Opera Mundi, Zelenskyy also wrote that easing US sanctions reduces the pressure on the aggressor and that financial rewards for Putin only encourage him to keep attacking.
