Kaja Kallas accused US negotiators of trying for about a year and a half to push Ukraine into surrender on Putin's terms.

“American negotiators have been trying to push Ukraine into surrender for already almost two years, one and a half years now,” she told the European Parliament on Tuesday, according to Euronews. Kallas said Ukraine has not surrendered on Putin's terms because Europe has kept supporting the country. She called for Europe's involvement in peace talks, tougher pressure on Moscow and a just, lasting settlement, according to the Kyiv Post.
