Russian President Vladimir Putin said the country is establishing a security zone inside Ukraine along their border, which will be non-negotiable in any future talks with Kyiv, according to Reuters.

According to TASS, Putin said only 10% of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic and around 16.5% of the Zaporozhye Region remain under Kyiv’s control and stressed the importance of better protecting civilians and military facilities.
