City councillor Iara Pimentel, of the Workers’ Party (PT), from Montes Claros, in Minas Gerais state, was hospitalized on the night of Saturday 24 after being hit in the face by a stone thrown by Bolsonarist militants, according to Carta Capital.

She was taking part in a campaign event by Workers’ Party members in her hometown when she was struck.
