Hamidreza Moqadamfar, an adviser to the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, said Iran’s response to any new aggression would be disproportionate and without geographic or time limits: “Our responses will no longer be proportionate or commensurate; we will set their assets ablaze—beyond the point of attack, and regardless of time or location.” The same adviser described the US election result as a referendum against Trump’s policies, in which Iran played a key role.
