US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in India on Tuesday on his second official visit to the country this year, an Asian tour blending diplomacy and trade, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.

Speaking in Samarkand, Rubio said Washington and New Delhi were “very close” to an agreement, but a deal during his visit appears unlikely, the agency reported.
