Uzbekistan announced investment deals across a variety of economic sectors potentially worth $12 billion during the Samarkand events.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio took part in a business forum in the Uzbek city on October 19 and, the same day, met with the foreign ministers of all five Central Asian states in the C5+1 format, OilPrice reported.
