The Israeli army said it killed a Hamas commander who took part in the October 7 massacre and a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) member in Khan Yunis in two separate Thursday strikes — those killed were identified as Mohammed Mohammed Abd al-Khalek Hala, a commander in Hamas’ military wing, and Ahmad Jabrin Tawfiq Dalhan, of Islamic Jihad’s military wing, who, according to the military spokesperson, had recently attempted to attack Israeli troops or civilians in violation of the ceasefire and were eliminated to remove the threat.
