Iranian Defense Minister Mehrdad Akhlaghi said the country is committed to strengthening combat readiness and to ensuring an immediate, effective and proportionate response to any threat, anywhere, without geographical limits. The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, warned that any attack on Iran will be met with devastating strikes, using new and modern weapons, and said Tehran remains open to diplomacy if its seven conditions are fulfilled.
