The Iran-aligned Houthis said on Thursday they had attacked Saudi Arabia’s Defence Ministry in Riyadh, Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, according to The Hindu.
Saudi state oil company Aramco told staff to evacuate its headquarters in Dhahran, on the Gulf, and to work remotely, Reuters reported, citing six people with knowledge of the matter, in a text republished by the Jerusalem Post. The instruction follows a wave of Houthi attacks on the kingdom, targeting the company and Saudi airports.
