Ukraine said it evacuated 167 more people on Sunday from threatened areas of the southern Kherson region, including 22 children and 21 people with limited mobility requiring special assistance, on the day a multi-day localized truce between Russia and Ukraine ended with no violations reported by either side and no sign of an extension, according to Al Jazeera.

The pause in hostilities allowed besieged residents to be evacuated from the front-line city of Oleshky, in a rare joint operation between Kyiv and Moscow that ended on Saturday; an estimated 2,000 civilians were in the city when the temporary truce took hold, according to AP News.
