Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that his country would stop hitting Russian oil refineries — a key demand of US President Donald Trump — if Washington provides Patriot interceptor missiles.
He tied the pause to one month of deliveries: if the systems are provided for a month, Kyiv would halt the attacks on the refineries for the same period, according to the Straits Times. Patriot missiles are among the most important weapons Ukraine has to intercept Russian drones and missiles.
