The center of Belgorod in western Russia came under a massive Ukrainian drone strike with significant damage and casualties, according to the city's mayor, Valentin Demidov.

In a post on his Max channel, he said the strike hit residential neighborhoods in the city center, damaging residential buildings, cars and social and commercial facilities, and that preliminary reports indicated there were casualties.
