Leading Democratic lawmakers on the US Congress intelligence committees said on Wednesday (21) they had received information that Russia is running a disinformation campaign against Democratic candidates, according to G1.

According to the lawmakers, the Russian campaign follows the same pattern of online disinformation operations identified by the US intelligence community in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 elections.
