A shooting left one person dead and four wounded on Friday in Trappes and neighboring La Verrière, west of Paris, according to TRT World.

France’s National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office said it is investigating the case as “murder in connection with a terrorist enterprise”, the outlet reported. The individual was arrested and placed in police custody, and all security forces were fully mobilized, TRT World reported. The BBC reported at least one dead and four injured in the Paris suburb.
