High Court Judge William Tam has set 9:30 a.m. this Thursday for the sentencing of Joshua Wong for foreign collusion, in a hearing lasting about 30 minutes.
Wong pleaded guilty in September and faces a prison term ranging from three years to life imprisonment on the charge of conspiring with external forces to endanger national security. The 30-year-old activist is already serving a four-year, eight-month prison term. Before the new charge, lawyer Derek Chan told the court Wong had been due for release in January 2027.
