Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera that Tehran agreed to shorten to two days the timeframe for implementing its plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to TASS.

He said Iran demands recognition of the shipping route it discussed with Oman and the closure of the others. An Iranian delegation arrived in Qatar to discuss mediators’ proposals on the nuclear program, and the minister said there are no plans for a meeting with US officials for now.
