On the eve of Israel’s election, Benjamin Netanyahu touted Donald Trump’s endorsement and suggested the two leaders could restart their war against Iran if he wins, after the US president said they should “finish the job”, the South China Morning Post reported.

“Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister, we have to finish the job that we started!” Trump wrote on Sunday. The White House said the United States will not attack Iran at any time before the November 3 midterm elections, according to a spokesperson cited by the paper.
