In Frankfurt, masked rioters looted shops on Oct 31 as the demonstrations turned violent, and police fired water cannons at youths hurling Molotov cocktails, according to the Straits Times. A gun store was among the shops looted, with its windows smashed; police said they arrested a suspect and seized two weapons.
