US President Donald Trump said in Washington that the US and India are “pretty close” to making a trade deal that will be “much different” from the earlier pacts, according to The Hindu.

The remarks came while Secretary of State Marco Rubio was visiting India and discussed trade, energy, technology, defence and people-to-people ties.
