Thousands of Venezuelans took to the streets this Thursday in the first nationwide opposition protest in nearly two years, calling for elections and political change, with a notably thin presence of security forces.
The march was organised by María Corina Machado's Vente Venezuela movement in Caracas and other cities, including Valencia, Maracay, San Cristóbal and Maracaibo. The interim government of Delcy Rodríguez and US President Donald Trump say there will be elections, but no date has been set.
