China said it was ready to work with India to address each other’s economic and trade concerns, after Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman criticised Beijing’s restrictions on market access, according to The Hindu.
She pointed to non-tariff barriers as the biggest hurdle in trade between the two countries, and India’s trade deficit with China widened to 105.93 billion, a 20.7% increase from a year earlier.
