Some 421,000 internal AfD emails are available for download on a website, a set dating from this autumn back to 2014 and including messages attributed to party leader Alice Weidel, deputy leader Beatrix von Storch and former AfD chairs Jörg Meuthen and Alexander Gauland.

The AfD told taz there had been a “hacker attack” in September 2026 on a hosting provider used by the party, in which “parts of a few” mailboxes were copied illegally.
