A federal judge dismissed a criminal complaint on Monday against two former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials accused of falsely downplaying their knowledge of a laptop the Justice Department says belonged to Hunter Biden.

“There is no denying this investigation was rushed,” Judge Faruqui said during a roughly hourlong hearing, later adding that it “cannot be described as anything other than weaponization” of the Justice Department.
