Around 2,000 people demonstrated on Saturday evening in Tel Aviv in support of a Jewish-Arab government, after opponents of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won a combined 67 of the Knesset's 120 seats in Tuesday's election, according to the Times of Israel.
A smaller counterprotest attended by some 200 people demanded an investigation into claims of electoral fraud, after Netanyahu's Likud party accused Arab parties of “stealing the election” with support from hostile foreign governments. Arab parties won an unprecedented 19 seats, and without them no bloc holds a majority.
