SpaceX owner Elon Musk said any disruptions reported by Ukraine in using the Starshield satellite communications system would be the responsibility of the US government, according to AFP, in a text republished by the South China Morning Post.

Musk said the Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government and that any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and, ultimately, by the president. He was responding to a social media post by Ukraine’s former defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who said Starlink connectivity at speeds of up to 160km/h is being restored.
