Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday, October 25, that Moscow would support the appointment of an EU diplomatic envoy to take part in negotiations, provided the designated representative shows a genuine commitment to a peaceful settlement.
Speaking to Russian state news agency TASS, Peskov said Moscow remains open to European diplomatic engagement but accused Brussels of failing to adopt a constructive approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, according to the Kyiv Post.
