President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for an emergency parliamentary session on Saturday to approve any Saudi requests for defense assistance if Egypt receives one from Riyadh, according to Ahram Online.
Sisi said his country is prepared to take any measures requested by Saudi Arabia to defend the kingdom’s security and sovereignty, according to state-run Nile TV.
