Germany enters winter with its gas storage at 61%, well below the European Union’s 80% target.

The country has the bloc’s largest storage capacity, more than a fifth of the total. The TTF contracts for December 2026, January 2027 and February 2027 are trading above 100 euros per megawatt-hour, according to OilPrice.
