The 16 representatives of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc on the Central Elections Committee wrote to Sohlberg asking for an urgent discussion of suspected vote-buying by Arab suspects, according to the Times of Israel — Sohlberg, also the Supreme Court deputy president, replied that nobody has legal power to delay the official publication and set Wednesday’s meeting for 9 a.m., earlier than scheduled, for a fuller discussion.

The pro-Netanyahu bloc won 53 seats, with 27 for Likud, while the other 67 seats split between Jewish-led parties, with 48, and Arab-led parties, with 19.
