A meeting of technical delegations from the European Commission, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Ukraine and the World Bank in Brussels ended without practical results on a possible settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, according to a diplomatic source who spoke to TASS.

In its final statement, the European Commission said participants had discussed “Ukraine’s postwar reconstruction and development.” EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said the meeting was expected to extend into Thursday and that previous talks had focused only on what Ukraine should give away. The Brussels talks come ahead of a new round of US-brokered peace negotiations next week.
