Russia extended a ban on diesel exports by domestic producers until January 31, 2027, according to a government statement posted on its website Saturday.
The extension covers diesel fuel, marine fuel and gas oils exported directly by producers, and, according to the government, it aims to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market. The earlier easing came after an agreement on October 9 between President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump to supply Russian diesel to international markets.
