Iran's Supreme National Security Council head, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, Iranian state media reported.

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing strategic cooperation in accordance with the roadmap outlined by the two countries' leaders.
