The Canadian Labour Congress, the country’s central labor union representing about 3 million workers, voted on Thursday to refuse to handle weapons and military equipment destined for Israel, according to Middle East Eye.

The body also demanded that the Canadian government “end all direct and indirect transfers of arms and military equipment to Israel.”
