Saudi Arabia’s newly appointed envoy to Pakistan, Rajeh Tami Albugamy, met Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir on Monday in Rawalpindi to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional security dynamics, the army said.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over progress under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and underscored the importance of strengthening defense collaboration. Munir will travel to Tehran on Tuesday for consultations with Iranian officials, according to Mehr News.
